Overview

Rosemary Altea, the internationally renowned medium and healer known to millions worldwide as "The Voice of the Spirit World," offered proof of life after death in The Eagle and the Rose.

Proud Spirit (TM) takes readers further along the path, exploring opportunities for spiritual growth in everyday life. Rosemary's storytelling skills inspire us as she recounts the time Christ laid his hands atop her own as she gave healing. Her spine-tingling tales of being visited by a group of spirit-world children and invited to a midnight picnic in a haunted house add awe, mystery, and magic to her work. Profound spiritual truths emerge: the need to know, value, and be gentle with ourselves, to be proud spirits who always quest for self-worth and that which lies within.

Question: Grey Eagle, if, at death, you have wasted away due to poor health, do you cross over in this condition?

Answer: I will only tell you that each one soul is beautiful, and when soul meets soul, there is a recognition of that beauty.

What becomes important is the survival of the soul, and the retaining of the light of the soul, not the physical self, which may be old and wrinkled and wasted away.

Your concepts of beauty will differ from ours, and when you cross into the world of spirit, your true beauty... that which lies within you...will shine like a beacon in the night. And, like moths to a flame, those of us who will recognize beauty will draw to you.

There are those of you on the earth plane who will fear growing old. For if you have lost a loved one, you may be afraid that he or she will see you as wrinkled and aged. But when the time comes for the reuniting of two souls, the true beauty... which is the joyof that reuniting... surpasses all expectation... and the smiles upon each face... radiant and at one... and coming together at last... will sweep away all fears of aging.

And when you have witnessed the joining of two hearts, there will be tears on your face which will mask your wrinkles.

And there will be laughter in the sound of your voice, which will dismiss any disfigurement you may have, and you will be made whole again... and the truth of who you are will be seen.

This book was recommended to me by a friend

I read this book because a friend said it was a enlightening book. I read it and the way it was written was almost like a diary. I liked it because you can picture these things happening. The children she brings to her class was the chapter I liked the most.

Hope Restored After Losing My 4-Legged Child

I read this after losing my companion animal of almost 16 years. I was in a state of total devastation and needed to know that my little boy was fine and that I would see him again one day. This book was the only thing that brought me comfort and gave me the hope and reassurance I needed to move on. It literally saved me. For those who've lost a companion animal, read the chapter entitled "Karma" if nothing else, but certainly best to read the entire book, if possible.
