Overview

He has watched her from afar...

Paul Reed has been raising children since he was a child himself, but he wouldn't change his life, even if given an opportunity. That is, until one of his brothers says four little words that shake the foundation of his world. "She's not a lesbian," shouldn't be quite so earth shattering, but suddenly the woman he loves is available, and he'll do whatever it takes to win her over.

They call her Friday, and she's hiding more than just her name...

Friday has worked in the Reeds' tattoo parlor for four years. She's become more than just an employee, and she loves being in the middle of something so wonderful. She treasures the way the Reeds live for one another, and she adores the way they take care of their family. She would do just about anything to be part of it, if not for the fact that she doesn't deserve a family of her own. Or does she? Friday is punishing herself for her past, and by doing so, she pushes away the one man who could truly love her.

Separately, they're strong. Together, they're vulnerable. As a team, they rock.

I just love this series!!! Paul's story did not disappoint. If you have not read this series you need to put it into your must read  list. I love how even though Paul takes care of everyon, it takes someone like Friday to care for him. This clan may not fit into a most peoples idea of a family. But that is exactly what they are. I think tne best part was when Matt told Paul how he learned to be such a good father. This made me laugh and cry. One of the best in this series so far. The Reed   brothers love hard. Can't wait to see how Sam's story turns out. Mrs. Falkner is one of my favorite authors. This book will not disappoint.

## I have mixed feelings about this book. I loved Paul. LOVED him. His protectiveness, loyalty, kindness, and his integrity. I adored how fiercely he loved Friday and his huge family. SHE (Friday) was the problem. She was kind of a witch. Not to mention, she cried too much. And she didn't treat Paul very well until the end. Why do all the "Reed" heroines have to be so damaged? Dyslexia, rape, teenage pregnancy and it seems like Sam's girl Peck (short for woodpecker; whatEVER) can't speak unless she taps her fingers or drumsticks. Albeit enjoying this for the most part, I can only rate 3 stars because the heroine and her excessive baggage bugged me.

Received via Netgalley in exchange for honest review 4.5 stars!! I absolutely loved this story! It is packed full of emotion and you’ll feel every single one of them. Paul has been the “dad” in the family for several years; it’s in his nature to take care of those around him and not take for himself. When he shares a kiss with Friday, he decides that she is what he wants and puts his plan into action. Unfortunately, due to some assumptions made on Friday’s part, she shoots him down but, he’s determined. Friday has a very sad past and because of her life experiences, has built up some walls in an effort to protect herself so, Paul’s task isn’t an easy one…sometimes a girl just needs a fortress. Paul’s relationship with his ex, Kelly is, well, weird to me. He’s ok with her cheating on her fiancé with him…not ok with me. Otherwise, I loved Paul. Friday was a bit frustrating at times because she tends to jump to conclusions more often than not and when the going gets tough, she just runs from it. She’s too afraid of getting hurt to let anyone in. When she asks Paul is he’s going to break her heart he gives her a confident “no” and then his brothers chime in, telling her to ask him if he promises because according to them, if Paul makes a promise, it will happen. Paul does and says some of the sweetest things, sigh… “You promise?”... “Have I ever broken a promise to you?”…”never”. In this book, you actually get a continuation of the family’s story, not just Paul and Friday’s relationship so I would recommend that you read the earlier books in the series first. This family is freaking awesome and you can’t help but fall in love with every one of them. It’s funny at times, sad at others, and there’s one heck of a plot twist towards the end.

Fantastic!! As expected another great Reed Brothers story and finally Paul and Friday figure out this intense attraction! Paul has always been drawn to Friday but he was certain she batted for the other team. When he finds out he's been wrong all along nothing can keep him from going after what he wants. Getting through Friday's walls may be more than he can handle though! Friday would love to be part of the crazy Reed family especially if she's by Paul's side. She's not worthy though, at least that's what she thinks. Can Paul get her to see exactly how worthy she is?? This is a great one! I highly recommend it.
