Garret Renke needs help. The Shadows his sister created for the government have attached themselves to him, and their sexual cravings are insatiable. Until he can destroy them, he'll never be free. Trapped in Garret's cabin during a snow storm, Regina Howard, his sister's former assistant, has now been dragged into his nightmare. The fact that she's smart, beautiful, and sexy doesn't made things any easier. Regina's familiar with the Shadows though and can help. If she's willing. Gina is shocked to find the Shadows attached to Garret, the head security hunk for Project: Silhouette. She's fantasized more than once about being alone with him. But not like this. Unless they overload the Shadows' powers, they're both in for a dangerous ride. Only one way exists to destroy the dark creatures? hot and raunchy sex.

Lynn Reviewer
As can be expected from this author, the sex scenes are absolutely scorching, exploring all possibilities, and most certainly not for the faint of heart!

The story was a little disjointed, but was overall a good read Prowleryns (Box Set), by Kate Hill is a collection of three stories from this series. They are Eber’s Angel, Kane’s Courtship, and Demitri’s Devil. While Kane’s Courtship and Demitiri’s Devil are connected stories, the hero and heroine of each are not persons of color. Kane’s Courtship has a nice twist at the end that was actually very surprising. They were good reads about how prejudice exists even within this created species. Prowleryns is the name used by this author to describe various breeds of cat shifters. The breed changes based upon where the “tribe” of shifters originates from. Prowleryns are almost extinct because of being hunted and killed by humans and the fact that most births are male. Because of this, they have begun marrying human females to try and help increase their population, while also revering any female born in the species. This has also led to arranged marriages between tribes to help interbreed and increase the population. In Eber’s Angel, Eber was the head of a tribe in Africa, which was originally from Ireland, for more than 500 years. His mate was killed by human hunters which has left him hating all humans. After giving up his leadership to his son, he leaves Africa and settles in the South American rain forest, thus, living a solitary life away from humans and his own kind. Drew, on the other hand, was a human nature photographer that was lost in the South American jungle that saves Eber when he got caught in quicksand. They both seem to be taken with each other, with Eber having difficulty accepting that Drew is a human that is not out to kill, but to preserve nature and all its species. The story was a little disjointed, but was overall a good read. -Reviewed by Selina
