I like this book. For a long time I have looked for a book that deals with ornamental as well as fruit trees under one cover and have not found anything satisfactory for the general gardener. This book really fits the bill... a lot of useful information to a wide variety of skill levels.

The best part of this book is the illustrations which make it quite clear where tree limbs and shrub branches should be cut off to achieve a properly pruned plant ... Although the gardening section at book stores contain many titles for those seeking a pruning guide, Pruning and Training Plants is the most straightforward and inspirational I've seen yet.
