Overview

This book is about Connecting to God. Are humans hard-wired to receive intuitive information from their Creator? How does a person discern between spiritual gifts from God and what is not of God? This book bridges the gap between spirituality and religion, by showing that God has historically used supernatural intervention to connect with Him to help ourselves and others, and continues to today. This is a self-help book, highlighting methods, games, testimonials and prayers that we can use to freely choose to yield to the God-Spot and see His Power manifest in our lives and those we love. Psychic Gifts in the Christian Life cuts across any barriers of religious prejudice or worldly psychology. Also, scriptures abound to direct those within Christianity to accept the gifts as a natural part of their faith and humanity, promoting awareness with historical application. This book may be heralded as one of the most profound books of the new century, revealing the desire of God to connect with His children and our ability to receive. Written by Tiffany Snow, a stigmata-bearer, evidence-based miracle healer and intuitive. Blessed Tiffany's near-death experience by lightning strike began her empirical revelations that bring people from all over the world to hear her inspired words and be touched by her miraculous hands. Each reading will lead you to a new level of understanding, ability and insight, as it undeniably expands, and positively changes, your own Divine reality. Activate spiritual gifts in your daily life!

One day in 1995 I died, and had a NDE. Ever since then, I¿ve been reading everything I can on the subject. According to most stories I¿ve read, I had an unusual one, not going down a tunnel, but experiencing many interesting phenomena all the same. It seems to me that there are some NDE books and magazine articles that are just hype, and published just to give recognition. I have found, through my many years and multitudes of books on the subject, that there is an underlining truth and spirit that pervades the true experiences. So, I have compiled a list of my best reads for NDE books, ones that I consider genuine and adding validating light to the personal NDE experience. I have left out compilations, these are personal narratives. I hope you enjoy them too. Embraced by the Light ------by Betty J. Reading this book can lead you toward the life you want. This book speaks to the heart, and intelligence. It is well written in a way that is easy to understand and to follow. The message from the book is easy to understand and apply as well. My Personal Challenge has long been to push past my own doubts and live my true potential. I have stumbled over many concepts, in my need to blend my fundamental background with the new truths that resonant within me. Tiffany Snow¿s book has spoken to my heart. And as she shares her spiritual journey with candor, humor, and simple truth, the reader feels like a silent friend learning beside her. She has validated many things for me, and has also persuaded a shift of consciousness on how I look at other things. Her NDE of heaven is pure and Un-Hyped. I find her descriptions of ghosts, spirits, energy tracings, and what the true nature of angels are, as Comforting; the ways she has been able to use the gifts for healing, finding things, helping others; Amazing. The many methods and games for self-discovery of the power within, and how to tap into God gifts; Empowering. I have enjoyed reading it, and I¿ve tried Tiffany¿s recommendations and achieved great results in my life. She teaches you how to manifest. In her courage to reveal her paranormal experiences, she has encouraged us all to do the same. Thanks Tiffany for sharing with all of us.

I read this book and I thought it was a waste of time. First, the author has the irratating habit of using exclamation points at the end of sentences. Second, she doesn't go anywhere with this book. She talks about her experiences, but they are watery and pointless. What is she trying to say? It's all marketing and no substance. Some people may find it helpful, in talk of loneliness and so forth, but it was pointless to me.

'Wow' that¿s what you¿ll say when you read this book. It is so beautiful and inspiring, Tiffany is open-minded, unlike a lot of Christians, and she is not afraid to tell it how it is. The lessons in this book gave me the courage and insight to see that I have control over my life, and can touch the ¿God-Spots¿ whenever I want. Once I started to believe that I could have good things happen in my life, and learned how to ask and how to listen, wonderful things started to manifest in my life. I can not tell you how inspiring this book is. I can't wait to read more from Tiffany Snow. Yes, the ¿self-help¿ lessons are simple - that's what makes the fact that they work even more remarkable. The NDE is great, the personal experiences will make you laugh, and make you cry! This is a great book!

I just finished reading a remarkable page-turner, a non-fiction book entitled PSYCHIC GIFTS IN THE CHRISTIAN LIFE: TOOLS TO CONNECT. The book was written by Tiffany Snow, D.D. and really kept me glued to the page. This is more than just a spiritual book, it is a hands-on manual of sorts that teaches the reader how to connect with their Higher Power and activate their own unique spiritual gifts in their daily lives. Tiffany Snow should know all about activating her special gifts. This very special woman got her life calling in a most unique way - she was struck by lightning and had a near death experience that left her without a doubt as to what God wanted her to do with the rest of her life. She discovered a gift for healing, and her public ministry began. Using many of her own personal experiences and insights into the spiritual workings within each of us, Tiffany writes in a friendly and intimate style that draws the reader in and holds you there as she presents an incredible amount of tools, techniques and examples of how to connect with the Life Force within, and use it to benefit the self and others. Her own life is layed out within the chapters, and is a fascinating backdrop against which she sets her growing wisdom and knowledge as her healing training progresses. From rural Tennessee to a Mexico beach with monster waves, to sunny Southern California to the Hawaiian shores, she takes us on a journey through her own spiritual coming of age. Some of the topics Tiffany covers in this oversize trade paperback are learning to accept the gifts we=ve been given, tools to expand our divine connection, how to use the power of prayer, energy tracings and how to sharpen our healing abilities and skills, looking for and finding our God-spots and the responsibilities that come with the realization that we have been blessed with talents to share with the world. She focuses on many Christian and Biblical teachings, but applies them in a way they can benefit followers of any spiritual path. Also included are intriguing chapters detailing Tiffany's work with the FBI in regards to the September 11 terrorist attacks and a child abduction case that enthralled the nation in its grip. Her skills and talents go far beyond just physical healings, as this book points out. Tiffany is a skilled communicator, and her book will motivate and inspire the reader, as well as educate and enlighten. At 240 pages, this book has a great deal to offer, and justifies the price tag, which might otherwise be too high for a trade paperback. But PSYCHIC GIFTS IN THE CHRISTIAN LIFE is worth it. I especially enjoyed the personal stories of Tiffany's own struggle to claim her life, her spirit and her calling. These stories make this book so much more than just a dry spiritual 'how to' book. They in fact resonate on such a personal level; you will truly feel you have made a new friend in Tiffany just by reading her book and sharing her wisdom. Whether you think of yourself as a healer or not, whether you are Christian or not, whether you are religious or not, this book has something to offer of tremendous value. It offers actual usable tools and concepts that can bring anyone closer to their own inner wisdom, and closer to the Source of all power, whatever that may mean to the reader. I highly recommend this book both as a manual for discovering the healer within, and as a spiritual guide for those who wish to strengthen and empower their daily lives, and perhaps then go out into the world to do the same for others.

I rarely write a review for any book, but after reading one of the negativity expressed reviews written about this book, I felt compelled to reply. I am a MINISTER and read Rev. Snow¿s book. I find it to be sound in its use of scriptures and common sense. There are some unusual accounts in here of her experiences with the Holy Spirit of God, but nothing that I would say is flatly against scripture. God has frequently used unusual and supernatural ways to get the attention of the world, and by the end result the fruitage would be recognized as from the Lord or not. I was requested to read this book by one of my church members, and have found nothing wrong with it, unless your faith feels that Holy Spirit is not active in the modern day church (such as healings and miracles, prophecy, etc). It might be distressing to see the word ¿psychic¿ in the title, but as Rev. Snow contends, ¿these too must come.¿ No where else in the book did I see the word used. Many Christians today seem to lack the resurrection power that Jesus had - instead of walking in authority, they are running from trouble. Instead of casting out demons (which is also addressed in this book) they are harassed by them. I suggest the person troubled by this book at least read it before casting the first stone. I pray that all Christians would allow the Holy Spirit to use them to help find missing children, work with the FBI, etc, and be giving HIM the glory for it, as Rev. Snow does. She knows her Source, and it is the same loving, Christian God that I know. I congratulate Rev. Snow for her courage. Through the centuries, those who been led by Spirit have always undergone negativity and controversy - this book is no exception, and as Christians, we wouldn¿t want it any other way.

This book will help you on your spiritual quest, and answer a lot of unique questions with common sense answers. This book is like buying seven in one ¿ its like a workbook because of the exercises in it to develop your own senses and, as Tiffany says, also learn to tap into the God-Spots for more power. But it also has chapters filled with experiences of her healing people, finding missing children, the near-death experience which opened her eyes and showed her these abilities, what ghosts really are and how to send them to the light, spirits, communication, the true nature of angels, etc. There is much encouragement towards helping each of us recognize our true potential as sparks of God. Im hoping it will help open the eyes of my relatives a bit, and it will certainly give my friends and I topics to talk about, and even games to play, for quite a while.

This is a book that may actually be written before its time. Ms. Snow speaks from personal experience - but also draws from numerous other sources in her successful attempt to bridge religion and spirituality - all in a context of Love of God, Self, and Others. No matter what your religion, the information presented here is sure to open your eyes a bit wider, with an acknowledgement of 'I get it!' on several points. The word 'Psychic' may not be appropriate in the title - perhaps 'Divine' or 'Supernatural,' for the fundamentally squeamish; rest assured there are ample well-cited Biblical texts for the Christians, without any reader feeling uncomfortable. Especially interesting - training the Five Senses to sense God via unusual games and exercises; learning to distinguish our inner voice from outside 'Others.' Also many thought-provoking concepts, such as 'What Religion is God?' If I was to title this book, it would be 'Commonsense Christianity.'

I really liked this book. I've read it twice now, and will probably keep it as a reference book. I think the main thing is that we can sharpen the five senses we have (what the author calls 'natural-born intuitive ablities) and tap into the 'Divine Supernatural Gifts' too (that 6th sense). For me, it was an eye-opener, being a Christian who has been told that I shouldn't be led by my 'intuition,' (some dreams too) let alone develop any of it, or see that God created us that way for a reason. This book shows the difference between the dangers and the Divine. I learned a lot from this book - and a big one was to let God out of the box we put him in, he connected with people in the past by supernatural ways. And I believ he still does. Just most of us are walking around blind and deaf, because we've shut ourselves down. This book will open you up, let you listen again. I don't care if you are a Christian or not - it's not pushy about it - it does have alot of Bible references, but its not preachy. It should help everyone get to know themselves better, and accept and develop who they are (there are alot of games, experiences, etc). It talks about a lot of different subjects. The lady is a minister who got struck by lightning, and came back knowing all this stuff and now also is real successful at healing. She's also had visions that helped the FBI about 9-11, has found missing kids, etc, lots of stories, and how-to. It's like a self-help manual for the spirit. I give it five stars.
