Psycho-neurologically Approaching a Field Theory Understanding of Schizophrenia via Research of a Non-normative, Non-pathological Syndrome: Synesthesia, and the need for more information [NOOK Book]

Overview

In past years the study, control, and understanding of schizophrenia has been greatly hampered by lack of information, inappropriate tools (like no computers of sufficient complexity for handling of compilation and dissemination of data), obviously a lack of appropriate software for such research and perhaps most simply, the incorrect approach. Since we must always reconsider, re-evaluate and redirect our attempts at helping the schizophrenic individual, this paper is directed toward this effort at seeing the ...

Since we must always reconsider, re-evaluate and redirect our attempts at helping the schizophrenic individual, this paper is directed toward this effort at seeing the schizophrenic person through the "filter" of a "normal" condition such as, synesthesia.

Herein various mental and neural mechanisms are pointed to, similar both to schizophrenia and to synesthesia. This paper was written toward the continuation of research in consideration both a "normal" and an “abnormal" condition with the further comment that this research is complimentary in many ways. While it is acknowledged that there are many other ways that do not match up (surely, or else the two conditions would be the same) what is presented here is the attempt to think “outside the box” and offer an alternative way of considering the topic. Through this type of study, it is conjectured, the human experience could be greatly enriched.

Meet the Author

We have finished the re-edit of "Death of Heaven",. it's now ready for DL here.

I now have several audiobooks out on Amazon, Audible.com and iTunes - http://bit.ly/1qXtMSl

My first horror story was published was back in 1992 ("In Memory, Yet Crystal Clear"). I have short stories published in several anthologies including, "The Undead Nation Anthology"; "Rhonny Reaper's Creature Features Anthology"); "Mr. Pakool's Spice" in "Hunger Pangs: Dark Confessions", "Breaking on Cave Island" in "Giant Tales Two and Three Minute Tales" - "World of Pirates", and soon in another "Giant Tales" series anthology "Apocalypse" of ten minute stories with, "In The Shade".

Screenplays: Gray and Lover; The Hearth Tales Incident - and, Horror / comedy; Dark of kNight - a paranormal romance).

I got out of High School, traveled around and worked and then joined the Air Force. I left the military as Sergeant and got a job at Tower Posters, Records and Video before during and just after college and then went into High Tech.

I have a B.A. in Psychology and for many years I was a Sr. Technical Writer. But there isn't much character or story development in that career and certainly no punch at the end, so I've mostly given up non-fiction (except for my blog at Murdockinations.com).

And here we are.
