At the same time, a book on "psychoanalysis" was published in Egypt, written by the first Arab to practice psychoanalysis, "Shukri Effendi Girgis." This book is the second Arabic book in the field of "psychoanalysis," and it was preceded by two years by the first book by the same writer, "The Method of Treatment with Psychoanalysis." "which was published in Cairo in 1937. Shukri Girgis was a teacher who was fluent in English and read a lot in psychology and psychoanalysis. He was fascinated by theories of psychiatry, so he published six books in them. These books were published during Ten years from 1929, until 1939, after which the author remained silent until his death in 1945.
