An enjoyable read... Written in a surprisingly personal stlye, this book provided me with a fun and interesting tour of the science behind the way we approach, consume, and are influenced by our food and drink. I was very drawn to the way the author consistently personalized the topics she addressed, ranging from food preferences, to social drinking, weight loss, etc. Despite the fact that it's packed with hard science, and tackles the issues of diet and nutrition from an unusual perspective, the book manages to inform and entertain without lecturing to its readers. I recommend it highly to anyone looking for a reference on diet and psychology, or simply a good book.
