From the PublisherCiccarelli and White's Psychology: An Introduction is a great introductory psychology textbook, which features an introduction that enables students to glean their learning style and how best to study, take notes, and write papers (a useful how-to for any class and any student). It covers all of the main areas of psychology in a logical and precise fashion, highlighting all critical theories and constructs.

Have you seen the great new Ciccarelli intro text? I really like it because it has current information that students can connect with like Psych: In the News, applying psychology to your life and comments and questions posed by real students. I also like the way she included the APA learning outcomes. I find this really helpful for the psych. majors so they can focus on mastery of the concepts and content they will be tested on when they take the G.R.E. Her writing style is very accessible for my students!
