    Don't Use This Textbook!

We used this textbook in my Introduction to Psychology class and it was not useful at all. The information in the text was disjointed, which made it hard to read. A few of the charts were useful, but the chapters didn't seem to be in order. The worst mistake was that some of the chapter was in 1st-person point of view, which should never be in the main text of an infomational textbook. So in short, don't use this book!

    Disappointing

I found this psychology book very annoying. The author used first person a lot, which I found distracting. The author talked about his daughter, his wife, classes that he took...ect. Every time I came across a personal story I lost all thought of what I was supposed to be studing because I was so annoyed by the use of first person in a text book! Who does that?!!
