"The cast of writers is international and outstanding."--Psychiatric Services
The book contains black-and-white illustrations.
"This book is an indispensable reference for psychologists evaluating and treating antisocial populations. The book's greatest asset is its conceptual framework that elucidates antecedent and comorbid conditions that complicate the assessments and subsequent interventions. Countering popular perspectives that psychopaths are untreatable, the book offers valuable treatment alternatives and reviews existing research on their effectiveness." --Richard Rogers, PhD, University of North Texas

I Also Recommend:
This book actually assisted me in deciding my major. I have always been interested in 'matters of the mind and psyche', but never really considered it as a profession. It is a textbook, so it's not really intended for light reading, but if you have an interest in psychology past what's seen on television or in entertainment, I'd definitely suggest this book. Was this review helpful? Not a horrible book... but sometimes a bit hard to understand, you may have to read the same paragraph more than once. Wouldn't read it for recreation obviously ;0) But very informative and helped to understand what was being taught in class very wellWas this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
