    Highly Recommended.

Erica David has put into words what so many spouses of military veterans endure from day to day. She not only explores the world of PTSD from traumas of adulthood but she also writes about traumas suffered as a child. The book is very easy to read and understand. It is applicable to any one dealing with PTSD whether a spouse or a survivor.

Not what I had hoped for.

While I feel sympathy for the author, the title and summary of the book was deceptive. The book (if you can call a 56 page essay a book) focused more on children of PTSD Vets and abuse than on having a partner suffering the trauma of war. I found a lot of the paragraphs redundent and I felt cheated based on how much I paid. Not worth the money; blogs and military forums are better resources for the subject matter.
