Walter Lippman (1889-1974) was an American writer, journalist, and political commentator. Lippmann advised Woodrow Wilson on the creation of the Fourteen Points and later won Pulitzer Prizes for his syndicated newspaper column "Today and Tomorrow." Lippmann was an anti-Communist and outspoken critic of the Vietnam War.
