Overview

This story is about the happiest little dog you'll ever meet-whose name is Pete-and he is the perfectly positive star of Puggle in Pajamas. Within these pages-as well as your imagination-you will spend one truly extraordinary day with Pete, beginning in the morning at his apartment in Yorkville. Along the way, you'll meet his friends Stella, Mickey, Dallie and Rudy, who are the best pals a Puggle could ever have!

As day approaches evening, Pete makes frantic stops at fancy and favorite New York City places including Tiffany's and Tudor City, where we meet his parents and a special friend. After that it's a stop at a hip coffee shop that's humming with poetry performances and music, then a sprint through Central Park to a great steak dinner with his pals! However, the day gets away from Pete and one small mistake turns into a huge problem, changing the course of his evening in expected ways. As a result, Pete learns how much he truly loves his friends.

After all, at the end of the day, who are the true rock stars in our lives but our family and friends?

Meet the Author

Kristen Booth is a New York City writer. She arrived in Manhattan as a dancer in 1997 to pursue a performance career and found the journey of "getting there" far more interesting than the destination. Fifteen years later, all the journal entries and datebook contents have proven to be the most interesting fodder, the kind one simply has to write about.

/Puggle In Pajamas/ is Kristen's first children's book and major publication. She published a book of poetry in 2004 title, /Shine On/ and wrote a biography based on the life of her grandfather in 2007. Presently she is drafting the script for a documentary film based around events that occurred on 9/11.
