It is difficult I am sure to write a blurb for the back cover that tells enough of the story without giving away too much or setting up the reader for disappointment. I was not disappointed but rather surprised. This story is not one of the over the top action adventures we see too often made into movies. It is thoughtful and realistic, delightful in some places, sad and bittersweet in others and triumphant in others. Although not a fantasy it does use one of the most compelling aspects of the classic quests, the need for each character to contribute their special talent if they are going to overcome dire adversity. Grey, the leader on this quest is one of the most compelling characters I have come across in fiction. I believe both men and women will find this to be true. It sounds like this character has already had adventures and will hopefully have more. The writing is smooth and fast reading and my only complaint was that it had to end.
