I just got back from vacation and finished reading this book. To be honest, I thought this installment read a tad slow at the beginning, BUT, once I got toward the end the author hit me, BAM!, with a HUGE shocker!! I immediately began to read faster and am DYING to know what is going to happen in the final book!!! I would have to say that in say, 5 or 6 chapters I fell for this book more so than the first one. I REALLY loved the twist and how it was worked in. NOW I just need to finish the trilogy! Thanks for this book!

Pulled me right into the story!
I must confess that this is book two in The Seaside Series and I have not read book one. However, I didn't feel like I couldn't understand what was going on nor did I feel lost. If anything reading 'Pull' made me want to go back and read 'Tear' so I can be caught up! I was literally 'pulled' into this story immediately! It was so magnetic that I found that I couldn't put the book down! 'Pull' is full of powerful emotions: anger, sadness, love, and hate. It is a dynamic, edgy, and dramatic story! A book you won't soon forget, Rachel Van Dyken has done an excellent job crafting this story! I am now going to buy book one to catch up and then anxiously await the release of book three!
No sex, just sexual references, but there is cussing. Discusses alcohol and drug addiction recovery.
I received a copy of this book for free. This is my honest review :)

I didn't think it could get any better than Nat & Alec's story in Tear, but I'm so happy to be proved wrong.
After reading the first of the Seaside series, I wasn't so sure I wanted to read Pull, but I had already purchased it, so of course I gave it a shot.
Once I got through the first chapter, it was painful to put the book down. I think I like this book even better than Tear.
There is something so beautiful about the relationship between Demetri and Alyssa. The emotions are so realistic and the author did a great job of portraying people going through grief.
I would 100% recommend this book!
If you're not sure about reading this, please take my advice and read it as soon as you can - you will not be disappointed!

I really enjoyed this 2nd book. I just couldnt put it down when Demetri came on I wanted more. Lyss and Demetri were so right for each other since the 1st time they meet. I knew instantly they were both for each other even though they were screwed up.
Losing a love is never easy...of course not...but Rachel had her own therapy session in this book for readers who were going through the same thing. This really made me think of any regrets I may have locked away that I may want to unleash.
Very good book, I think it dragged a little for in the 1st book but it really picked up on this 2nd one and all hell is about to unleash in the 3rd one. It's waiting for so let me go het started!!

I love rachel van dyken her books are always amazing, I would know I have read all of them! The book keeps you interested the whole time it makes you laugh and all! The only thing I wish is that it was a little bit longer because its only about 200pages but its still really good!

Pull is the second book I have read in the Seaside Series by Rachel Van Dyken. I was completely torn in Tear between Alec and Demetri. After reading Pull I can so see why Alyssa would swoon for Demetri. This guy is Swoon worthy! Rachel Van Dyken has written yet another wonderful story that had me completely captivated from page one all the way to the end. I love this book, there is so many emotions in that I may suggest grabbing a Kleenex box, I laughed, I cried, I just thoroughly enjoyed it.
Demetri is trying really hard to keep his life on track in this book. He's having a rough time of it but he's doing it day by dy. Demetri really is a bad boy that has a heart made of solid gold. When he meets Alyssa things are a little rough between them at first. But watching these two get to know each other and helping each other heal. They are exactly what the other needs and reading their story is an emotional roller coaster ride.
Alyssa has been in such a dark place for so long when Demetri comes along, he is exactly what she needs to help her start living again. I loved Alyssa and felt her pain and her misery of what she has been through. When things start to work out between her and Demetri I was so excited for both of them. This girl needed love and someone to show her how to live again. Demetri is just the guy to do that.
There is a lot of drama in this book that most certainly kept me turning pages quickly. If you have read Tear, then you must read Pull if you have not already. I liked that Alec and Nat would appear to lend that little bit of support or an ear for Demetri. I love series books because I love catching up with all my "friends" from previous books. I have Shatter in my to read pile and I CAN NOT wait to start reading it. I wonder what wonderful story Rachel has came up with for us next.
I was very lucky to receive a copy of this book to read and share my thoughts with you. Stay tuned for my thoughts on Shatter soon.

I LOVED this book!!! To be honest, I love all of Rachel's books but this one was just outstanding. Alec is my favorite Daniels brother but I have a soft spot for Demetri. That soft spot grew even bigger after reading Pull. Alyssa's character was full of sorrow and wit that I just couldn't help but love her and feel sorry for her at the same time. Now, if I can just be patient long enough for Rachel to write Shatter. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
