2.5 stars - This wasn't bad by any means, it's a nice light read and I read it in one sitting. I think what kept it from rating higher for me was that I didn't feel a strong connection to the characters because 1) things went a little too smoothly, and 2) the dialogue felt a little forced at times. This story has a lot of potential, but probably could have been edited down a little for my liking.
