Simply the Best's Pumping on Your Stereo collects a somewhat motley assortment of singles from artists that are either British Dubstar, the Lightning Seeds, Embrace or big in Britain the Dandy Warhols and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, whose "Boys Better" and "Red Eyes and Tears" are, respectively, two of the album's highlights. The collection flits through the '90s and '00s somewhat randomly, but the Sundays' cover of "Wild Horses," Mock Turtles' "Can You Dig It?," Morrissey's "You're the One for Me, Fatty" and Supergrass' title track are some of the standout tracks. It's not the most impressive collection of Britpop and its connected styles, but it might still be worthwhile for die-hard Anglophiles.
