The synopsis pretty much tells it all, the whole novella. Puppy Love wasn't written very engagingly, it jumped all over the place. The character though of something to do and skipped right into doing it in the middle of a paragraph... ugh. Both main characters aren't deep at all and I got the feeling they are just saying and doing corny stuff and things that one would think is generally sexy.
It is a story that had a decent plot, though unbelievable - but hey romance plots don't always have to believable - what confused me about the story was how the main character just popped into all different places, situation and dialogues, sure this was a novella, but it felt messy.
So I can't say I liked it. I'll tell you few things that I did like, I liked the nerdiness of the male lead and the the possibility of more puppies, through the puppy was forgotten when the doc stepped into the picture.
I've read Secret Cravings' novels before with good results so this kinda blind sighted me.
P.S: I wouldn't pay 8$ or the 4.99 for US for this. First it's too short, and it's not as great as the synopsis. Read the first chapter at amazon.
