This book is about McGrowl having puppies and taking care of them. I liked when they named the puppies starting with Mc, then something added at the end. Thomas is the boy who got McGrowl. Thomas was good at school. He liked McGrowl because he cares about him. If he loses him, he can't get another dog. Thomas bought 3 puppies and he names them all. McGrowl has super powers, like his hearing. He can hear a really long distance away. I think the author wrote this story because he really likes dogs. I liked the story because I like dogs, too! It was just right for me.
