    I Great Read-Aloud for Teachers!

Brigid gets 'colouring markers' of various styles, and promises not to color on parts of the house or herself. She upholds her promise until she gets 'super indelible never-come-off-till-you're-dead-and-maybe-not-even-then-markers.' She uses these markers to color herself and her father. This story is a great read aloud, with repeated phrases that students can say with you. Students love the colorful pictures and the funny text and want to read the story again and again. It is a wonderful introduction to a funny author that helps make students interested in reading by themselves.

I read this to my older children, 25 & 27, and now read it to the children I have adopted, 12 & 10. I have to order another copy for my grandson. Love this book. You MUST read this in a certain way to make it more fun. I have never found another book that was quite as entertaining as this one!

Book is too mini for sharing aloud.

My daughter loved this book as a child. As a preschool teacher, I wanted her to be able to share it with her class. The book is about three inches by three inches and is very hard to share with others, especially in reading aloud. I was hoping for a full sized version, but my daughter was delighted to read the story again.

Never left my memory, so glad to find it once again!!

I'm 19 years old and his was one of the few books I remember from my childhood, and it has bothered me for so long that I couldn't remember the title, or find it anywhere. I am so glad that I rediscovered it because I am now able to share it with my younger sister. Such a fantastic book for younger kids.

    I never forgot this book!

This book is amazing. My dad would read it over and over to my sister and I. I am now going to school for teaching and I can't wait to add this book to my library.

    Finally Found It!

I bought this book from a book fair when I was 6 or 7 years old. I am now 15 and finally, after searching for an hour online, I found the book. I can honestly say this is a great childrens' book. The illustrations are awesome, and it kept my attention. It is a cute and funny story that your children will enjoy!

Tell Me Again What You Use Markers For!?

Kindergarten students want to be 'big'. In school being big means using markers. However, we save it for 2nd semester. This charming book is a wonderful way to introduce the 'rite of passage' from crayons to markers by humourously looking at what can go wrong if some basic ground rules aren't established. If reading aloud, you may want to skim over or alter the reference to the 'cow patty' colored marker. Otherwise, have a blast with lots of expression, both in voice & gesture!
