Overview

Pursued: A Maggie McKenzie Mystery Lynn Gardner In an attempt to discover the truth about what really happened to her two brothers who were declared dead at birth, newspaper editor Maggie McKenzie has signed on for more of an adventure than she bargained for. What begins as a much-anticipated fact-finding trip to England quickly turns into a dangerous escapade as Maggie is forced to run for her life after she inadvertently gains possession of an innocent-looking flash drive. The tiny device contains details of a terrorist plot to destroy major London landmarks. When she realizes that someone she knows is involved with the malevolent plot, it becomes time to make her solo mission a family affair—even though it seems that most of the family members she has met in England would like to see her gone. Hold on tight with sleuth Maggie McKenzie in a pulse-pounding thrill ride through the United Kingdom as she discovers that when it comes to long-lost relatives, what you see isn't always what you get.

    Breathtaking Scenery Amidst Terrorism

Pursued: A Maggie McKenzie Mystery by Lynn Gardner

After 6 drafts, this book saw the light of day in magnificent splendor. Lynn takes Maggie off to an assignment in England to take pictures of classic English cathedrals, gothic mansions right out of her gothic romances she used to read, to show tourists how to see England on $100 a day. She is also given an envelope with info on her two brothers she'd thought had died at birth, so she goes in search of them in the villages, never intending to stir up a hornet's nest. While at LAX, she is nearly knocked down by a mysterious man who follows her to England, where she comes across an innocent-looking flash drive in her bag. With the help of Flynn, her twin sister Allyssa, their new friend Rolf, their brother Damon and the newly found grandparents that live in the centuries old huge Gothic mansion Dragonwyck, they get the terrorists who were planning on destroying famous English landmarks and others around the world. This is a must-read for anyone who loves gothic romances or scenic historical England.
