Overview

Asher Lake, a wolf in his ani-shift form and Keeper to his people and the protégé's left in his care, knows what he wants. He wants to reform the Union, become a better man, and test fate. Determined that Elle Ison has a place in his life, he sets out to discover just what that place is-while pursuing the one thing that might open doors to provide answers, to the curse hanging over his life, namely his stolen medallion.

Elle Ison, along with Asher's brothers, Ari and Nixon, share two specific things in common-a love for Asher-and a desire to keep him alive anyway they can. Even if that means setting off on a fool's quest or making certain sacrifices to keep him that way.

Shawn's writing style is unlike any I've ever read. I can almost see this series being a movie. I would so love me some Asher Lake.

This is the third in The Union series (of six novels). The dangers of an impending uprising and threats from unknown sources fill the pages with intrigue. Reilly keeps the action going while creating questions to keep you reading on. The sexual tension between Elle and the three Lake brothers escalates but she must make a decision whether to commit herself to the Keeper, thus putting his life in danger, or move on...but to where. The book ends in a cliff hanger but you don't have to wait for long for book four. Congratulations Shawn on a great read!
