Joshua Kelly, famous Indian Scout, gunfighter, gambler, rancher, and U.S. Deputy Marshall, husband and father. He was the son of the youngest Confederate General John H. Kelly was born in Mobile, Alabama. Orphaned at an early age, his grandparents, Joshua and Ophelia Perret took him in. After the war, the Perrets made the move to California. The Chiricahua Apaches wiped out their wagon train near Tucson. The only survivor was the young Joshua Kelly. Chato, a Chiricahua chief, adopted Josh and raised him as his son. Josh was now called "Little Paws" and proves himself as an Apache brave, performing the Sun Ceremony. Later, he serves as Indian Scout for General Crook. He meets the legendary Al Sieber and Tom Horn who teach him to use a six-gun. He moves to Prescott to work as a ranch hand. However, the Indian in him has a restless spirit. His travels take him to Deadwood, Tombstone, Tucson, Denver, Skagway, and the Yukon. This story is action packed with all the elements of the Wild West in its heyday; gunfights, gambling, gold strikes, Indian attacks, love, romance, murder, revenge and justice.
