Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Marisa Brown
A collection of playful, kid-friendly songs from around the world, Putumayo Kids Presents: Animal Playground is a nice way to give kids age-appropriate music that's not dumbed down and also exposes them to different cultures and languages. The U.S. is the most heavily represented country here, with four different contributions (Canada and Australia each have one), but also present are the delightful "L'Otorhinocéros" from the French group Les P'tits Loups de Jazz and the Italian version of "Old McDonald," "Nella Vecchia Trattoria," by the Quartetto Cetra. Animal Playground may not be the album you pull out when your kids are finally in bed, but while they're awake, it's a nice one to have on.

My entire family loves this CD from child to adult.  The songs are fantastic and not at all irritating like some children music can be.  We have a couple others, but this one and World Playground: A Musical Adventure for Kids are the favorites.
