About the Author

Shivam Arora, CPA, is a data scientist. Shivam holds dual master’s degrees: an MS in Accounting and an MS in Business Analytics. As an applied Artificial Intelligence (AI) consultant, Shivam specializes in applied AI for accounting and finance. Shivam’s research interests include financial modeling and statistical relationships within financial markets, application of AI to accounting, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

Shivam has published 4 academic papers and 3 practitioner papers. Shivam is also a recipient of the ACRP Graduate Research Award (GRA) and a two-time recipient of the Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship. Shivam currently serves on the ACRP GRA expert panel for projects related to factor modeling and fuzzy matching.
Shivam is keen on examining the implications of AI/ML to the fields of accounting, finance, and business.
