Overview

She’s young, hot, and queen of the social scene, but Melanie never thought she’d become an entirely different kind of queen on her nineteenth birthday.

Queen Tianna is what the taxi-driving gnome called her as he drove her home from an epic party, and it’s a title she’d gladly give away if she could. Until she turned nineteen, her life revolved around parties and shopping in her home town Bar Harbour, but now, as Queen Tianna, she is expected to give up her exuberant social life to become ruler and protector of a hidden mystical world.

Having birth parents that aren’t even human, much less normal (although honestly, whose parents are normal??), doesn’t exactly help her situation.
She quickly finds out that having a fairy mother and a vampire father means that she gets some seriously whacked out genes, intriguing new powers, and a twin brother who wants her dead.

Meet the Author

Not all authors could balance their writing with four jobs and a thirst for lifelong learning, but Angela Anderson does just that. Type A (for awesome), creative and emotional, she has a non-traditional, multifaceted career that includes planning and designing events, teaching, marketing, and seeing the world from behind a video camera lens. With a reputation for being “the quirky one”, she has a collection of skull memorabilia and a love for motorcycles, cupcakes, hip hop music and all things pretty.Passionate about youth, the former high school teacher now volunteers as a Big Sister and spent past summers helping underprivileged children at a non-profit summer camp.Angela was also the 2007 Canadian Adult National Champion in figure skating and currently teaches children as young as two years old how to find joy on the ice.According to elementary school report cards, she was a child with an "active imagination" and had very strong creative writing skills, often amusing both classmates and teachers with elaborate stories. High school brought out the dreamy, thoughtful poet which led to being recognized by the community and awarded a creative writing scholarship. Now, with a B.A. (honors, English/Music), B.Ed. and a whole lot of worldly experience, her writing emphasizes wit and light action geared towards keeping youth interested in literature and most importantly, turning pages.

    This book is GREAT!!!

This book is all I have ever wanted in a book. It has mystery, and stuff like that. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone ten or under, unless they are really mature, because it has A LOT of sware words. But anyway, I would reccomend this book anyday. Its a great read and I think lots of people will LOVE it like I did.

Get the book. It will be great!

    Can't finish. . .

The main character is 19? She acts like shes's 2! All she does is whine and complain. I can't even finish the book it's so bad. The story sounded really interesting but don't waste your time or your money.

    Fun read

This book is a fun, easy read. Characters are easily believable, if not necessarily fully fleshed out. Good formatting and free of massive typos that seem so prevalent in some free books. Definitely recommend for a joyful, uncomplicated afternoon read.

Enjoyed reading this book. Loved the family drama and Finn and B

Enjoyed reading this book. Loved the family drama and Finn and Bob. Didn't really like how rude she is to everyone, especially those trying to help her and her kinda self centered and poor me attitude were annoying to say the least. Want to know what happens next and I really hope her character matures.

This would have been an ok book if the main character was not such a whining, egotist. The character cursed so much it was like watching one of those bad b films. The plot would have been great. The development was good and thoght out, but seriously all together it made for a read I'd rather forget. Will be updating my blog tomorrow. Not recommended.
