I love this series. It's a lot of fun to read and I love seeing the other couples pass through and build on the overall story line. Sanctify, and it's wretched leaders, makes for a fantastic set of villains, and the couple in this book, Jenny and Mac, were great. Jenny's had to deal with a lot (including a psycho brother and father) and she's out to prove she can do anything despite the cotton wool her other brother, and newly crowned king, wants to wrap her in. Mac is uber-smart and even manages to get a clue about women. Definitely a cute couple.

Jenny O’Keirna is a wild child who is fearless. She confronts danger without a thought for her safety. She is sent to take inventor, Mac Flannery, to safety. Sanctify must not capture him. He is to valuable to Hansarda. His rescue will not be easy. Evil, death and treachery surround them. Katee Robert delivers another powerful story in the Sanctify series. Jenny and Mac are dynamite together. In spite of the danger around them, their passion explodes. Can these two opposites find love? I love the characters. Mac challenges Jenny in every way. Their battle of wills is intense and so very sexy. The characters are strong and compelling and the setting is intriguing. The story is filled with surprising twists and turns that kept me guessing. This series keeps getting better. I'm hooked.

I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for an honest and unscripted review.

Jenny is mad, bad and dangerous. She likes to act like a Party

Jenny is mad, bad and dangerous. She likes to act like a Party Girl with attitude..flippant , crazy with a mouth that doesn't know when to shut up. She jumps at the chance to go retrieve the genius who is helping save her country. Mac is a geek, but gorgeous, sexy and honorable and has had a crush on Jenny from seeing her exploits. There's attraction on both sides..each thinking it's just about sex. Mac sneaks in under Jenny's guard and makes her realize he's just what she wants and needs. To get to that point they had to escape from the enemy more than once, be betrayed by a friend, drugged and suffered losses.
Jenny and Mac are great characters separately and together their perfect. This book is part of a series, and although I haven't rad the others yet, I didn't feel lost reading this one.
    Good story...highly recommend it.

This is the second book in the Sanctify series, and although I loved the first book, I enjoyed this one so much more.

The first book revolved around Boone and Ophelia and, although Jenny O'Keirna played a pretty big role in the first book, she is the major player in this second book.  This is her story, and what a fun story it is!  She was my favorite character in the first book, so I was absolutely thrilled to find out that we were getting a book completely devoted to her this time around.  I can imagine a whole series devoted to just Jenny, I really can!

I loved this book for several reasons.  This book is definitely sci-fi, but without being too complicated.  It has all the fun aspects of sci-fi (intergalactic travel, alien creatures, laser guns, stuff like that.) but without all the technical jargon and mumbo jumbo that so many books seem to have. I often lose interest when I'm reading sci-fi (even though it is my favorite genre) but not with this series.. but now back to this awesome book:

Jenny is an extremely likable heroine. She is tough, intelligent, snarky, and totally capable of exceeding everyone's expectations of herself.  Jenny is sharing in her brother's joy of welcoming a new baby girl into the family when a distress call comes in from Mac, an inventor who is currently employed as a weapons developer and is a highly valuable player in the war currently going on between Jenny's family and Sanctify, the evil bad boys who are hellbent on total interplanetary domination.  Getting their hands on Mac would seriously tip the scales in their favor, and Jenny just can't allow that to happen. She she volunteers to go pick up Mac and deliver him to one of his foxholes on some other planet. Easy Peasy, right? Oh, if only.

The action in this series is non-stop.  It is fast moving and so much fun! With Sanctify constantly on their heels, Jenny is determined to prove to her big brother (and the rest of her team) that she is perfectly capable of successfully rescuing Mac and delivering him safely to his little hidey hole.  The attraction between Jenny and Mac is pretty much immediate, but it takes them a little while to actually act upon that attraction and when they finally doit is amazing!   Mac is the perfect compliment to Jennyhe is not the typical domineering Alpha male (which would never sit well with Jenny anyway.)  He is more like the "strong but silent" type, so to speak.  He is secure enough to allow Jenny to take the lead when necessary, yet always there to back her up as well.  He is a typical geeky hero who should not be underestimated simply because of his nerdish standing in society.   Plus, he's just a nice guy!

Even though this is the second book in the series, it stands well all on its own.  Everything is explained along the way, and although I highly recommend reading the first book simply because it is a great book worth reading, you won't have any trouble understanding what's going on if you coose to read this book first.  This is a fast, fun, well written story and I am already looking forward to book three in this series!!

    Review:

Another great, action romp across space from Katee Robert!

This is the second book in the series, but have no fear you will not be lost if you read this book first.  I must say I think this second book in the series was better than the first and I really enjoyed the first book.

Jenny is one sarcastic heroine and I loved her.  You know she hides behind her words and actions because of how she was raised and her fear to let anyone get close.  But, is one tough, son-of-a-gun!  Who does not like a nerdy, alpha male?  Well, Mac is that plus so much more.  He really is the perfect partner for Jenny and he understands that she needs to have control and backs her up.  He is also there when she needs to let go and comforts her.

The supporting cast of characters are great and add so much to the enjoyment of reading this book.  I particularly liked Sadie from the first book and this one.  When Jenny and Mac go to hide on the Porno planet is awesome and I loved Luc and had a love/hate relationship with Gwen.

This story is full of adventure, action, intrigue and sexiness.  An epic adventure that reminds me of the movies I loved so much growing up, except this story was wayyyy more sexy!

Ah, what an ending!  Ugh....I cannot wait for the next book, after the bomb dropped at then end, I am on the edge waiting for the next one....Please hurry ;)

This sci-fi romance takes the reader on a thrilling adventure through the galaxy.  Jenny O’Keirna is tasked with babysitting a to-smart-for-his-own-good inventor, Mac Flannery, which she thought it would be an easy task.  But she wasn’t expecting the attraction that sparks between them – or that Sanctify wants him too.
This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on the edge of their seat with lots of action, suspense, drama and romance.  The author brings the story to life with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination which makes the reader feel as if they are on the adventure too.  The well orchestrated action scenes are exciting and believable and the strong compelling characters are easily related to and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.
The attraction between Mac and Jenny is red hot and pulses from every page and the sex scenes are hot and steamy, but it’s the relationship that has stars exploding across the galaxy.  Danger at every turn, betrayals and enemies around every corner is enough of a hindrance, but Jenny isn’t one to let down her guard and let anyone in due to her past.  The romance between the two captures the reader’s interest because it seems that they are opposites that couldn’t be compatible at all. There is a lot snarky and feisty dialogue between friends and friendly enemies that provides lots of laughs and entertainment.
The author provides a world full of action packed thrills, lots of captivating characters, sensual and passionate romance and keeps readers on their toes with lots of twists and turns.  I enjoyed the first book in the series, but I like this one even better and I can’t wait to read the next one.
