    Good start but poor ending

The Question started off as a great tale. Crystal turning to her friend, Gail, to make her dream of being a mother come true. Crystal is in a perfect marriage with Rashid, but lacks the ability to communicate with him on her problems. Rashid comes off flat and stereotypical. Throw in Greg, Gails's love interest, and you've got a great layout for drama.

The story had amazing potential but there were so many hang ups I just couldn't overcome them. For someone who lost as much as Gail had, she did everything wrong when it came to her relationship with Crystal. She was weak and naive when it came to her friends. She knowing made mistakes but continued to make them. The closer the book came to a close, I thought maybe she would see the light. But no, what do we get? A disney happily ever after ending....Wow. To deal with some difficult topics, such as loss and divorce, you'd think this novel could stick with some form of reality. If you're willing to settle for a less than ideal end, I'd suggest this book. Wait....I'd only suggest this book if it was free, you had nothing else to read, and were willing for a sorry ending. Zena, I love your other work. What happened?

    Anya

A girl walks in. She is tall, with long blonde hair and dark green eyes. Those who knew Anya in the past would no longer recognize her. The light that once danced in her eyes is gone. Her long, purple dress has been replaced with a black outfit. With a flick of her wrist, she sends the room into darkness.
