This science reference book provides easy to understand definitions to a wide range of science and technology questions. The photos and diagrams are easy to understand and make the book fun to read. This is a great reference book for a lay person to better understand how things work and why things happen the way they do in order to better understand modern news reports about science and technology.

As a student of physics and science in general, I found this book to be a great compilation of the grand ideas of technology and science that are known (and some unknown!) today. It's a great book to read short tidbits of very compelling and interesting topics, as well as a great way to introduce or explain very advanced and difficult concepts to your friends.
