Stuart Gustafson is an author, mathematician, computer scientist, and university professor whose own father died before he could ask these vital questions. This book is his effort to give readers what he could not give himself. He lives in Boise, Idaho.

Robyn Freedman Spizman is no stranger to success. As an award-winning author, she has written dozens of inspirational and educational nonfiction books during her career, including Make It Memorable, When Words Matter Most, GIFTionary, and The Thank You Book. She also coauthored the Women for Hire series (with Tory Johnson) and debuted her first work of fiction for young readers, titled Secret Agent (with Mark Johnston). As a seasoned media personality and consumer advocate for more than twenty-three years, she has appeared repeatedly on NBC's Today, CNN, and is featured regularly on the NBC Atlanta affiliate WXIA and Star 94. In addition to her writing, reporting, and speaking, she is also the cofounder of The Spizman Agency, a highly successful public relations firm that specializes in experts and book publicity. She lives in Atlanta, GA.

I was born a crisp fall day in november my parents were Andrew and Mary. I had two brothers conner and adain, adain was tooken in after his parents were killed by assasins when i was 1 right after he was born he was my cousin but he is now, andm my brother conner was born after me in december. My family was one of magik the potions the spells the amulets all of it. It all started when i was eight. My dad walks in through the screen door into our kitchen "hey patrick" i look up at him drinking a cup of water "yeah" i said"its time to teach you magik" he said. I start to get out of my seat "yes finally yes" i said, "cmon lets go out in the woods i want to teach you were its calm" he said. I followed my father out to a clearing in the woods. "Ok pat were going to start out with ice magik" he said "yes father"i look at him he had black hair with blue eyes and was tall. "We will start with the main piece of ice magik ice make magik" he said "you ready son". "Yes father" "ok now watch carefully" he throws his fist down onto his hand and a block of ice appears"
