I have been trying recipes out of this book for about a month now and haven't had a bad dish yet. This book has been on my cookbook shelf for several years now with little use, but it has been a godsend since my husband, with no warning whatsoever, had a heart attack. He was put on a heart-healthy diet, meaning low-sodium, low-fat, low cholesterol. A formerly picky eater, he has eaten every recipe I have tried from this book with no complaints. I highly recommend it for everyone. I've lost 6 pounds in a little over 3 weeks since we began our new eating adventure. This book is also good for diabetics and hypoglycemics. It doesn't call for any ingredients that aren't readily available. I've been cooking for 25 years now, but even a novice cook can follow these simple recipes.
