Overview

The novel is renowned for its warmth and humor, despite dealing with the serious issues of rape and racial inequality. The narrator's father, Atticus Finch, has served as a moral hero for many readers and as a model of integrity for lawyers.

One critic explains the novel's impact by writing, "In the twentieth century, To Kill a Mockingbird is probably the most widely read book dealing with race in America, and its protagonist, Atticus Finch, the most enduring fictional image of racial heroism."

The book is widely taught in schools in English-speaking countries with lessons that emphasize tolerance and decry prejudice.

    Casey Milton

Name: Casey Scarletta Milton Age: 16 Species: Fallen Angel/Werewolf Looks: She has light brown hair with shots of blonde near the ends of her bouncy curls. She has bright blue eyes covered with a thick pair of gl<0>ass<0>es. She usually wears tight fitting t-shirts with skinny jeans and calf high black boots or red converse. She has heavy mascara and eyeliner most of the time, with pink lip gloss to highlight her lips. She has a simple gold ring with the inscription "He who saves one life in time saves the world" inside. Her wolf form glows silver in moonlight and golden in daylight, has a long soft tail and large paws. She turns wolf whenever she chooses, not just when the moon is full. Personality: her best trait is her loyalty. She is very slow to trust but once you earn her friendship, she will jump in front of a bullet for you. She is also brave, smart, quiet, and secretive. Her worst quality is how daring she is. She can be dangerously wild at times. History: don't ask. Enjoys: Reading, flying, playing with fire and running with scissors. Other: Bother her human and wolf form have a shadiw with wings, since she is a fallen angel and can no longer fly. The shadow of her wings is all she has left.
