This updated Third Edition of the best-selling pocket guide has been expanded to include some significant new information when compared to previous editions. The color-codes tables of recommendations now contain a listing of 16 representative protective barriers including trade names materials against approximately 600 chemicals of interest. These barrier listings now include glove, boot, and suit material of construction. The recommendations presented in the guide are based on near 11,000 permeation and over 3,000 degradation test data compiled and evaluated by Krister Forsberg. All these data are published the 2nd edition of Wiley's Chemical Protective Clothing Performance Book.[This guide is divided into seven major sections. KRISTER FORSBERG is the creator of this book concept and has 40 years of experiences in protective clothing. In 1989 the first edition was published.

ANN VAN DEN BORRE has 20 years of experience in the PPE business. She specializes in chemical protection and the mechanisms of permeation breakthrough.

NORMAN HENRY III is a retired DuPont Senior Research Chemist and Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).

JAMES P. ZEIGLER is former Principal Investigator from DuPont Protection Technologies and currently provides expert consulting in chemical and biological protective clothing.
