Meet the Author

Gretchen Galway writes romantic comedies because love is too painful to survive without laughing. She discovered romances through the brilliant work of Jenny Crusie and Susan Elizabeth Phillips, and would send all royalties to them if she had any decency (and didn't need to pay off her sugar-free gum habit.)

A graduate of Stanford University, Gretchen has accumulated writing material as a fit model, fashion merchandising assistant, database caretaker, textile designer, cottage gardener, and mom. Raised in the American Midwest, she now lives in California with her family.

To learn about her other books or just to say hello, come by www.gretchengalway.com or follow Gretchen on twitter at www.twitter.com/GretchenGalway.

    Balanced, nuanced and funny

The book starts out with a twist and goes from there. Crisp writing and well-developed characters, without too much story getting in the way of the steamier sections. I wasn't expecting a thriller, but that element is in here too - and well played. The author has found the right balance (which can be really hard with hot contemporary romance books!). A neat find; I look forward to her future books.

    Disappointed

Just read 2 other books by author, Supermodel's Best Friend and Diving In. Enjoyed the humor and romance and story lines so went looking for another book by same author. This book had no humor or romance or even a plot. Very disappointed.
