    Disappointing

    Much to basic and oversimplified. QuickBooks is a very sophisticated and involved program. For me, this book only seemed to provide information that was obvious, almost self apparent when using the program itself. It was of no use for more complicated tasks that I needed in the areas of payroll, online banking, and customized reports. To me it was a waste of money. I have found other "books for dummies" much more informative.

    Not Too Suitable for Training Purposes

    I did not find this book to be adequate for learning how to use QuickBooks for employment purposes. It does not give enough detail information especially about accounting procedures. I have an accounting background and I needed a book that showed bookkeeping procedures as well as the accounting theory behind it. The book is fine for people who are not that interested in learning the complete program. It is adequate to teach quick ways of doing certain tasks. If you want a more thorough guide to using QuickBooks, you should think about getting a book through Intuit.
