    Good Reference.

This is a great reference companion to the Quickbooks material. However, there are an high number of small details omitted. This is probably the book close to being comprehensive enough for those involved with the main Quickbooks programs

OK. Could be a little more specific for the beginner. That's me.

I found the book to be helpful in addition to using the tutorials. There should be more picture (images) of what they are talking about when refering to screen icons, especially for a first time user. That's me.

I don't think the book explained a lot of trouble shooting items, that's when I would refer to the tutorials for the help I needed.

    Very easy to use

It is very easy to look up exactly what you need in this book. It also includes a lot of helpful hints that you might not discover on your own.

    Good tool!

Quickbooks 2009 The official Guide is a good tool. This is much more comprehensive and complete than other Quickbooks reference books. The only problem I have is you have to know what to ask in order to ask. Information is filed under the terms quickbooks uses, not how I might phrase what I am looking for. I kept getting off the track of looking for the information I wanted and reading other things. I learned a lot, but not always what I needed at the time.
THe explanations and processes in the book are thorough and easy to understand.
