Quid Pro Quo is the first installment in the Market Garden series and is for those wanting an hour of intensely steamy yet mindless entertainment. It takes place in the world of rent boys where money can indeed buy you happiness, along with a few hours of sexual fun.
Jared's the new boy toy on the block and has slowly become enamored of Tristan, whose been in the business a long time and knows how to get the most money out of his clientele. Jared's been dreaming of getting his hands on Tristan and when a client gives him the opportunity to put on a show for him WITH Tristan he almost forgets that their time together is for business. What follows is a steamy encounter that practically burns your retinas. The power play between Tristan and the client to squeeze more money out of him is diabolical to watch. Tristan is constantly in control but there were a few flashes where you could sense Jared getting the upper hand. The two of them mesh beautifully together and it would be easy to become addicted to what they offer. Overall, the scene reeks of sexual tension, and even when they reach the end you can't help but want more.
This is a story merely meant to titillate. There's nothing thoughtprovoking or profound, it's merely sex. The sex though is written very HOT and has a flow that allows for the sexual tension to escalate where the reader is just as into it as the client. Those looking for Shakespeare look elsewhere, this is pure sexual fun and for my hour I too got more than my money's worth.

To say this book was hot would be putting it mildly. It is a short read; full of tension, lust, passion, need, want and control. Both gaining and losing control.
The story introduces you to your local British rentboys at Market Garden. The place the men with fat wallets go to get they jollies off and the place where boys offer services to pay their rent. Told from the perspective of Jared, the slightly insecure rentboy who has a thing for the sexy and brazen Tristan. We get inside Jared's head quickly and comfortably. While the boys wonder if they will get work during the holidays "Sorry, Mum and Dad, I'll be sucking cock on Christmas Eve." the rich American with the shiny Rolex on his wrist walks through the door. The cards are laid on the table and Jared gets his chance to be with Tristan. Even if it is only for work.
The relationship between Jared and Tristan in this story is intense. Even with such a short read I was drawn to them, intrigued by them, involved with them and just wanted more! As each quid was laid on the table my heart raced increased wanting exactly what this threesome was offering.
As my first read from each of the authors I am thoroughly impressed and plan on reading more in this series and more from both authors.

Aww, poor Jared, he's about to forget all of his money woes while being slowly...driven...out...of...his...mind. Luckily, he's being tantalized by the very tasty Tristan. Torquing the entire tale is the john, or "Rolex" as we come to know him.
""God, but he was turned on, and he didn't know who was controlling this little game: Tristan, who withheld action for money, or the john, who could turn up the heat any time he wanted to he if would just stop f*ing around and put some bloody money on the table.""
Trousers, treasure trails, throats, touches and telltale smacks. Yeah...and I've only pulled out some of the 'T' words. Oh, and let's not forget about Tristan. Tantalizing, twisted Tristan. Did I already mention him?
""Tristan's boneless figure solidified one liquid joint at a time, and he sat up, rolling his shoulders under his slick, black shirt.""
Give yourself a treat and enjoy this tale. The incredibly well paced tease is very worth your time.
Btw, you might want to read this quickie in a quiet, comfy place. Alone. Or then again, maybe not entirely alone.
I wholeheartedly thank Riptide Publishing for providing me with an ARC of this title in exchange for an honest review.
