A gem of a find! I saw Quiet Please praised on a blog, and quite frankly, had never heard of either artist, but I had trusted the blogger before and not gone wrong. And in this case, I love all 17 songs so much on this CD that I decided to do my own version of a blog in the form of this review. If you listen to me, and more importantly listen to the combined talents of Darius de Haas (wow, what vocal dexterity) and Steven Blier, you will be as wooed by the spell they create as I have been. The first four tracks speak to the amazing combination of talent and variety of songs that unfold in the next thirteen. I would not have thought that the Rodgers and Hammerstein standard "I Have Dreamed" would be found on the same CD as Stevie Wonder's "If It's Magic" but here they are, and the result... It Is Magic. Hope you enjoy this new find of mine as much as I have this week!
