Let the Games Begin....
Quillan is a territory on the verge of destruction. The people have lost control of their own future and must struggle simply to survive. The only chance they have of finding a better life is by playing the Quillan Games. Hosted by a strange pair of game masters, Veego and LaBerge, the games are a mix of sport and combat. They use the people of Quillan as pawns for their amusement as they force them to enter competitions that range from physical battles, to impossible obstacle courses, to computer-driven tests of agility. To triumph in the games is to live the life of a king. To lose is to die.

This is the dangerous and deadly situation Bobby Pendragon finds on Quillan. He quickly realizes that the only way to save this troubled territory is to beat Veego and LaBerge at their own games and dismantle their horrible fun house. But there is more at stake for Bobby. The prize for winning the Quillan Games may be discovering the truth of what it really means a Traveler.

My boyfriend got me into the Pendragon series, and at first I didn't want to read it because I thought it would be a take off of Harry Potter [which i also love.] However, I couldn't have been more wrong! Its a completely different story line that is amazing. I've loved reading it. Anyone who is into fantasy/adventure stories would love this series/book!

From the first page of book one on, I was hooked! I love the characters and thier development throughout the story, and I love the creativity involved in each of the different worlds. I can't wait to see what happens next! If you liked Pendragon, you might also enjoy the "Fablehaven" series by Brandon Mull, and the "Percy Jackson" series by Rick Riordan.

Definitely a great read. Unlike other Pendragon books before it, this one is really thrilling and suspenseful. Probably not my absolute favorite of the series, but a close second. Read this book. You will get hooked. :)

This one was a little slow at times, and a little difficult to get through. But the games are creative and fascinating to read about. There's also some interesting stuff going on with Mark back on Earth to heat things up. Another good installment

Pendragon fans will not be let down by the 7th book in the series, the Quillan Games. It's as funny and action packed as the other six books. Well worth the money. As usual, the story switches between Bobby's journals from Quillan and Mark and Courtney, his friends on Second Earth. It's a Great Read!? oconli57¿
