Attention grabbing visual aids engage your interest in the step by step learning process.

I have been sewing for many years so i find it fair for me to say I feel this book would be a great asset for any quilters' library, regardless of quilting skill level. The attention to details: arrows, pins and colorful illustrations, make this book an excellent choice.

Great Reference and a Good Read

I bought this book after piecing and quilting my first quilt and then realizing I had no idea how to bind it. I learned how to bind from the book - and without any tears. And then I went back to review what the book had to say about piecing, pressing and the like. I found great suggestions that I used in my next quilt. While looking for something else, I read about Hawaiian quilts and was fascinated. From there, the book went on to my nightstand and has become my bedtime reading. I'm hooked and will trying many of the techniques there. My experience so far suggests I won't have any trouble learning the new techniques from this book. This is the one you want on your bookshelf - or your nightstand.

    Great Quilting Book

I love this book. I use it all the time along with my other books. It helps with everything. I even give as a gift for those that are starting to quilt. Pictures are clear and instructions easy to follow.

    Well written and concise

The format is very logical and makes looking up techniques quick and easy. I especially like the quick tip boxes within many of the technique descriptions. Even though I've been quilting for a number of years, I learn something new each time I use the book.
