Overview

Sequel to Lorcan's Desire - A Whispering Pines Ranch Novel

It's been a year since Lorcan James left Whispering Pines Ranch, and Quinn Taylor has barely recovered. Only two things keep him from falling into the abyss of despair: his work at the ranch and his escape into the world of BDSM at a club called The Push. At The Push, the sound of men begging him helps drown out the bitter memory of his own voice begging Lorcan to stay.

When Lorcan comes back to Pegasus, the same blistering heat simmers between them, but almost nothing has changed. Lorcan is still with Jess, the man he left the ranch with, and Quinn has captured the attention of Ty Callahan, a man who will beg Quinn for anything, anytime, and any way Quinn wants it. Despite how much he wants Lorcan, Quinn swears he'll never beg a man again. If there's one thing Quinn has learned the hard way, it's that not even begging can fill love's aching need.

Good second story to the series and about second chances

This is bk two and you will need to read book 1, Lorcan's Desire before you can fully understand this story.

This one starts out several months past were the first one left us. However, the prologue does an ok job of showing you how Quinn's being dealing w/Lorcan leaving during that time.

This time Quinn is dealing with what he lost and how to move forward. He has found someone to help him through this rough patch, Ty and over the next several months that lead into a year he finally starts to become happy again.

Then in walks Lorcan again and everything gets flipped around.
Lorcan and Jess are going strong even though Lorcan never stopped loving Quinn.
Jess has been left a small ranch in Quinn's home town and they decide to move back.
This story really touches on deep inner feelings of love and friendship.

    A Great Book

Quinn Taylor has spent the past year trying to deal with the fact that Lorcan James moved away. Quinn has used the work that needs to be done on his ranch as one way of dealing with his loss and escaping to a club that deals in the world of BDSM has helped him handle his emotions. Quinn now makes others beg him instead of doing the begging himself. He is determined that no one will ever get him to beg them again.

Lorcan James is back in Pegasus and while his feelings for Quinn haven¿t changed he is still with Jess that one that he originally left town with. Lorcan is dealing with his emotions when it comes to Quinn knowing that even if they are now living in the same town things between them haven¿t changed. Lorcan is with Jess and has managed to find a measure of happiness. Now if he can just get his feelings for Quinn under some control he will be even happier in his life.

While Lorcan and Quinn¿s feelings for each other may not have changed the fact is now Quinn has caught the attention of Ty Callahan and Lorcan still has Jess in his life. Now Lorcan and Quinn are working on finding their own happiness even if that means that happiness isn¿t with each other. Only time will tell if they will be able to find what they are looking for and where that might be.

This story is well written and the reader gets to see the journey each character takes to get where they end up. This is one story that should be read with the first story in this series otherwise the reader will be left feeling they are missing parts of the story. While the first story ends with a happy for now storyline this one closes some of the character¿s story line quite nicely. This one may not be for all; but those who read this one won¿t be disappointed in the emotional path that the author takes the reader on. Once the reader starts this one they will find it very hard to put down until the very last page.
