I love this series and have reread these books several times but i wont be reading this one again. I loved Quinn but Rose wasnt a herione i could relate too at all. I loved the other female characters like Delilah or Maya but Rose irritated me the way she couldnt trust Quinn all the way to the end. I think the fact she rejected him after the sacrifice he made when he came home from the war started my dislike of her character. The book was good though and other readers liked her so its just my own prejudice.

Another Great Scanguards Novel!
I must preface this review by stating that the Scanguards Vampire series is one of my favorite series ever. With that said, Quinn's Undying Rose did not, overall, disappoint me.
Having read about Quinn in prior books in the series I loved having the opportunity to learn what made him the brooding, workaholic vampire that he is. The story of his love for Rose before he was turned was, at once, touching and heartbreaking. His unquestioning acceptance of Blake and his unwavering support of Rose showed me a new side of Quinn that has remained hidden in previous books. This book contains all the mystery, excitement, and steamy romance that I've come to expect from the Scanguards series.
I was slightly disappointed in Rose's story. I found it very hard to believe that a 200 year old vampire, who had never been held in captivity, would be so naive and would never have run across any others of her species who would have, at the very least, made her question her current beliefs regarding the lifestyle and laws of the race. I would have thought that in her chosen business endeavor she would have come in contact with someone who would have corrected her wayward thinking. Her lack of trust in Quinn on every level was understandable, believing as she did, but I found it somewhat irritating that she held onto that mistrust as long as she did.
Overall, the character development was strong, the plot line never wavered and I am looking forward to the next installment in the series.

Love this newest addition to the Scanguard series. I think Quinn and Rose's story is possibly my favorite thus far. I love the fact that she includes all the characters from the earlier books in the series. I can't wait to see what she has in store for Blake and also Oliver but most especially Thomas and Eddie. I love Tina Folsom and can't wait for the next book.

I had never given much thought to Quinn's story, initially, but it was definitely a story worth reading.
Quinn and Rose were married, yet seperated for 200 years. The shock of Quinn being turned into a vampire was a bit much for Rose to handle. And after she found out, her life was changed for an eternity. She ended up keeping secrets to protect what was dear to her. The same things she wanted to protect is what brought them back together.
What brings them back together causes them to face their past, their feelings, and their regrets. With the help of Quinn's new family, they face the danger while sorting out the truth. This is a difficult journey for both of them.
Since I love the Scanguards series, it was a given that I would read the book. But since Quinn didn't play much of a part in previous stories, he was a mystery. Tina brought out his mysterious past very well. She showed the inner battles and never let us forget that his outward appearance was not who he was deep down.
I loved seeing his story unfold and the battle he faced between love and trust. And with Rose coming into the scene, we get to see how much Quinn hid about himself. He has to complete a mission while opening up Rose's eyes to the mysteries of being a vampire that she had never imagined possible.
This was definitely a great addition to the collection.

It was nice to see Quinn find his true love that happens to be his first love as well. Just like Tina's other books I was not let down. My only problem is that her books are like chocolate. I cant read just one chapter. I read this book in 48hrs. But unlike chocolate, I dont have to worry about it going to my hips.
