This is, unequivocally, one of the best novels I have ever read. His style of writing is is more descriptive (with insightful imagination) when compared to Dostoyevsky's which is more probing and questioning. Both writers are remarkable though and I have read almost all of Dostoyevskys novels.
Is it a true story?
A wonderful historical novel. One of my favorite novels ever.
