If you like anything Bicycle This is GREAT

I like this book. I like quotes and this is perfect for the bicycle enthusiast. I write a bike club newsletter column each month and often refer to this book for a quote to use in my stories. There are quotes and short quips of all lengths, from a few words to a few paragraphs. The only reason I did not give a higher rating on 'ease of use' is that I wish there was a cross reference index to be able to find the quotes when I want to access them by word or category. The only index in the back is by the names of the people who are quoted and the page numbers where their quotes are found. I would like more specific information. This is a good book for gift giving to someone who is really into biking. Seems a little heavier on the mountain biking vs road biking -

    Bicycling... and Life

Many, many gems in here. Inspiration for even non-cyclists... though only cyclists will 'get' most of the citations. Happily, an addendum describes the credentials of the individuals quoted.
