"Quotes from the Underground is . . . a stock of patriotic wisdom that should be nailed to the door of the New York Stock Exchange!"

"An excellent read--or rather lots of them--for atheists and others who care about liberty and our fellow human beings. Words from hundreds of wise people like Richard Dawkins, Ellen DeGeneres, Steve Allen, and George Orwell, to make you laugh, think--or both."
-- Ed Buckner, former president of American Atheists

"William Martin's excellent chronicle of quotations from the American Left needs to be lifted above ground and spread across the land. Read, absorb, and take action!"

This book is an amazing distillation of liberal and radical thought. The quotes are incisive and funny, but deal with critical issues. Turn to any page and you will find a gem of cutting edge wisdom.

An AMAZING collection! Quotes from the underground was entertaining, informative, funny, and most importantly inspiring. The collection is beautifully assembled and obvious care was taken with its organization and structure. It can be read 100 pages at a time or in very small doses. Either way, William Martin's book will leave you wanting more.
