    Great Suspense

Race Against Time by Kimberley and Kayla R. Woodhouse weaves the tale of lonely, Anesia Naltsiine and her thirteen-year-old daughter, Zoya. The duo are champion sprint dog racers in North Pole, Alaska. Anesia has worked hard and long to become a reputable dog breeder, drawing buyers from all around the world.

Zoya longs for the dad she’s never met. She’s driven to succeed, to be like him. Zoya finds herself thrown into intrigue and suspense when she witnesses a murder while exercising her dog sled team. Her life is plunged into continual threats of danger and she struggles with conflicting emotions in all areas of her life, particularly with her relationship with the Lord.

Anesia is forced to face the fact that she can’t fully protect her daughter, and deals with learning to step out in faith and trust God with her daughter’s life. Both battle feelings of jealousy toward the relationship of their dear friends, Cole, Jenna, and Andie Maddox.

Sean Connelly desires a fresh start and takes a job at Anesia’s kennels after walking to Alaska from Boston. He’s hired as a worker, but also to help protect Zoya. The story escalates when Sean finds macro-chips with military secrets embedded under the skin of Anesia’s dogs. With the discovery, threats on Zoya’s life escalate. He needs to overcome the issues from his past in order to have a future with this mother and daughter.

I found Race Against Time to be a wonderful read which I highly recommend.

    Another excellent suspense novel

Zoya witnesses a murder while out with her sled dog team. She tries to flee but gets shot in the process. She is left feeling angry at God for allowing so many bad things to happen to her and her friends. Her mother, Anesia, is at her wits¿ end, trying to take care of her daughter and keep her kennel running snoothly. She hires a new man named Sean to help out with the dogs but doesn¿t have time to deal with the feelings he stirs up within her. The bad guys come after Zoya again, and Sean vows to protect them. But Sean is hiding something too, and Anesia doesn¿t know who to trust.

Another excellent suspense novel from the mother-daughter writing team Kimberly and Kayla Woodhouse. We got to spend some time with Jenna, Andie, and Cole, too, which was nice, because I missed them. This story has a mystery of its own that is connected to events in book one, but goes further. I couldn¿t put it down. Very well done.

A GREAT sequel to No Safe Haven that you won't want to miss!

Anesia Naltsiine is a strong woman who has been raising her daughter, Zoya, on her own. She owns a kennel where she breeds champion racing dogs that people from all over come to purchase. So why is loneliness nagging her heart along feelings of unworthiness. Zoya misses a dad she never knew and wonders why God took him away. But she will make her dad and his name proud by being the best sprint dog racer. Then Zoya is witness to a murder which throws her and her family into danger but also reeks havoc on her emotions. Is God really there? That's when Sean Connelly shows up looking for a new start. Anesia and Sean are drawn to each other. As the danger escalates Sean finds himself wanting to protect mother and daughter but he's also finding his feeling for them growing. When Zoya takes off alone trying to protect her mother, Sean and Anesia find themselves in a Race Against Time to save not only her daughter but themselves as well. The dynamic duo writing team of mother and daughter have once again produced a gripping-nail-biting-page-turning-staying-up-late-into-the-night story that you don't want to miss. Race Against Time is a great sequel to No Safe Haven. I loved that Cole, Jenna and Andie (from No Safe Haven) were very much a part of this story as well. And Sean is one guy you'll want to get to know!!!! You get a panoramic view of the beauty of Alaska, its culture and her people. You learn about sled dog racing, what it takes to care for the dogs and the harshness of the beautiful terrain. The authors tackle many tough subjects like PTSD, anger, forgiveness, and doubting God. You truly feel like you walked the journey with these families. The way the story was laid out, with person, place and time in each section, really enhanced the reading experience. If you enjoy an a great romantic suspense that keeps you hooked 'til the end, then I definitely recommend Race Against Time. You could read this as a stand alone but I recommend you read No Safe Haven first. Great job Kimberley and Kayla Woodhouse! murder, suspense, romance will keep you turning page after page

This book starts with a bang and keeps you on your toes all the way through. Anesia Naltsiine lives in North Pole Alaska with her thirteen year old daughter Zoya. They run a dog kennel and race through the Alaskan snow. Zoya's dad died before she was born so she was very jealous of her best friend that has had two dads. Zoya wants to follow in her dad's footsteps as a champion racer, she feels that this will make her dad proud. But on a trail run she witnessed a murder of a homeless man or so everyone thought. Then thing begin to happen that just was not right in their world.

She and her mother was in danger and Anesia felt like she needed a man to live on the property in a cabin behind their house to help her and to keep watch over them and the very pricey dogs. So in come Sean Connelly a newcomer to North Pole. But after Anesia's friends checked him out there was nothing on him that would harm them, so he was hired and moved in.

This book will keep you turning page after page, you will not want to put it down. This is the second book in this series as the first one is "Safe Haven". This can be read alone but I think that if the two books were read back to back you would understand the story more.

Thanks so much to B and H Publishing for sending me this advanced copy of this book to review.
