RACK CANCER: Sharing Hope based on 0 ratings. 2 reviews.
My favorite book genre is the memoir and RACK CANCER is that and more. There are poems, there are stories, observations and a detailed history of one woman's journey through cancer and how it affects her and changes her views. Lori Whitney Phair has included emails from the first months after her breast cancer diagnosis. These exchanges are intimate and personal messages to friends and family. They put us in the moment with her. This book is a unique and lively compilation of a few years of a life changed forever and now lived to the fullest. Writers can crystallize our thoughts. Lori does. Validate an experience. Lori does. Give us hope Lori does. It is about everyday life with cancer in it but not taking over it. Uplifting, funny, life enhancing, generous-get it and spread the word
In her new book, “Rack Cancer Sharing Hope”, the author, Lori Whitney Phair, invites the reader to join her on a very personal journey of self discovery or perhaps rediscovery. Through a collection of emails, thoughts and clever poems, the author takes us along on her voyage of becoming a Breast Cancer Survivor, Warrior and Advocate. With soul baring honesty, a sharp creative quick wit and insightful wisdom, this book will make you laugh, cry and give you hope. The many golden nuggets and reflections she courageously shares throughout the book are easily relatable and will resonate with you. This is a wonderful read for anyone who’s ever gone through, or is going through a life changing experience, as well as, for the people who will love them through it. You’ll be riveted from page one!
