Arleta Pech is recognized as a leading painter of still life. After enjoying international renown as a top watercolor artist for over thirty years, Arleta began to paint in oil, using her watercolor background to add a luminosity to her oil paintings that is visible in a darkened room. Arleta began her fine art painting career with a local Colorado organization. She entered the limited edition print market in 1989 and release 40 editions through 2000 with Mill Pond Press. Hadley House now represents her. Arleta was accepted into the Archives in The National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. in 2003. She has published articles in Australian Artist Magazine, The Artist Magazine, the American Artists Magazine and International Artist Magazine.     GREAT BOOK for learning Glazing in Oil and INCREDIBLE ART

    This book is just outstanding and is the best for learning glazing and there are great lessons studies to try the process out on. The original art shown in the book could be in a coffee table book they are so beautiful. So this book hits on all counts, and is inspirational in her words on her developement as an artist. It encourages anyone to paint and makes it DO ABLE!

    highly recommend----------the examples are truly beautiful!!

    i like the book because it suggests the different transparent paints and then demonstrates a few different projects on how to glaze, deal with different lights and shadows. A nicely put together book.
