Norma conduce el programa más exitoso de la radio. Ella lee los nombres de los desaparecidos y, al hacerlo, reúne a familias fracturadas. O sea, intenta recomponer lo que la violencia ha destruido. Pero Norma también es una víctima de la guerra: hace años que Rey, su esposo, no regresa a casa y ella está atrapada por las incertidumbres. Aparece entonces Víctor, un niño de la selva portando una lista de nombres, en la que Norma encontrará indicios sobre el destino de su esposo.

Meet the Author

Daniel Alarcón nació en Lima, en 1977, y se crió en EE.UU. Es Editor Asociado de la revista peruana Etiqueta Negra, y ha colaborado con TheNew Yorker, Harper's, VirginiaQuarterly Review, entre otras revistas importantes de EE.UU. Ha ganado varios honores, incluyendo una beca Fulbright (2001), un Premio Whiting (2004), y una beca Guggenheim (2007). Fue nombrado uno de los mejores novelistas jóvenes estadounidenses por la prestigiosa revista británica GRANTA, y uno de los mejores jóvenes escritores latinoaméricanos por el Hay Festival de Bogotá. Es autor de Guerra a luz de las velas (finalista Premio PEN/Hemingway 2006), y actualmente vive en Oakland, California. Radio Ciudad Perdidaes su primera novela.
